- 案件部分本质上还是《白夜行》的情绪，即社会派悬疑，隐匿的爱情关系，青年犯罪，以及孤独之心碰撞在一起后向时代进行的报复。家庭剧的部分就与许多东北文学、怀旧题材一样，讲的是时代本身。时代即社会，社会即系统，把这个系统拍透了，所有东西就都出来了。而命运、历史、对两代人的沉浮的展现，也是一次化繁为简的成功，将时代进程这些宏大主题与个体命运结合得很好。视听语言方面，有几次同机位的跳切会显得很怪，而且前几集的镜头语言比较生硬，后面就好很多了。不过，整个观感还是非常不错的，其实比后半段被迫支离破碎的《狂飙》，以及太过沉溺于时代情绪里的《平原上的摩西》都要好。看完之后确实激起了怅然若失的感觉，满脑子都是那句“如此生活三十年，直到大厦崩塌。”——而这剧正好也是个中国独立摇滚辞典，配乐基本上全是国摇。
