- 三个故事，集数适当，演员表演发挥稳定，不少还是老戏骨。比起后几部，这部真的是一个侦探故事，没有丝毫多余的地方，元芳再武功上也不是bug，狄仁杰也有失误的时候。单凭这一点，就能耍后几部好几条街。
- 除了神乎其神的武打和机关有些过份夸大外，剧情扣人心弦，编剧史料丰富，看了三个故事下来，已经发现故事反派的出现方法。。
